You’ve got to be kidding me!
This statement from ESPN blogger Graham Watson says it all:
“[BYU] admitted that it didn’t prepare for Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder as a runner.”
Why?! Ponder’s mobility was a hot topic before the game. Thousands of fans were nervous to see how BYU would handle a mobile quarterback and the defense didn’t even prepare for one?!
After the tough lessons from 2008, of not taking anything for granted and respecting every opponent 100%, to hear that…
FAIL.

Uhhh, actually, the defense prepared all week for a mobile quarterback. The “FAIL” is to Graham Watson, not to this BYU team. Graham proves yet again that she has no idea what she’s talking about. BYU admitted they were unprepared, yes. But, to say they didn’t prepare for him to run is ridiculous. Don’t throw the team under the bus because of what one uninformed reporter says!
Show me where BYU came out and said they were preparing for Christian Ponder’s mobility. Link?
Bronco4Prez, If BYU admitted they were unprepared then they did not prepare for stopping Ponder’s running. Why is this so hard for you to understand? The BYU coaching staff dropped the ball in preparation and gameplanning for this game. It was very clear to anyone watching the game without blue goggles, who they better prepared team was and it was obvioulsy FSU.
Good bye Cougar Legion, I’m dropping the feed, URL favorite, etc. One loss and you guys apparently pack it in. This site is now a lost cause, but not the team.
