Comment Guidelines
First, I want to express thanks to everyone who comes to the site and participates in a constructive manner. You help make the site a fun, thought-provoking place to visit. With that in mind, there have been some recent comments that we feel were not in harmony with the goals of Cougar Legion and detracted from the good discussion that takes place so often in the comments section. In order to assure that we preserve an atmosphere conducive to open and respectful discussion, we have devised some general guidelines for participation on CougarLegion.com:
- Show respect for others. Differing viewpoints are vital to good discussion, but avoid personal attacks. If you don’t have anything to add to a discussion other than a self-serving jab, don’t leave a comment. Nobody needs it.
- Avoid negative stereotyping in any form. Bigotry, racism, and other such forms of negative stereotyping are not welcome. Violators will have their comments removed and be permanently blocked from commenting on the site.
- Use clean language. Any profane, vulgar, or inappropriate language will not be tolerated. Violators will have their comments removed and will potentially be banned from commenting.
We reserve the right to remove comments without notice. If you can’t find a comment you left on the site and wonder why it was deleted, email me and we’ll talk about it privately.
Thanks, everybody!
