New recruiting strategy will take some getting used to

If there’s one thing the Internet has done to college football fans, it’s made them (myself included) afraid of the unknown. We’ve become accustomed to knowing every detail that we ever cared to know about our teams, players, coaches, recruits, other teams’ players, coaches, and so on. We’re hooked on instant information gratification, but recent trends in Coach Mendenhall’s recruiting strategy are going to reacquaint us with the concept of “wait and see.” Or we’ll go nuts.

On the Road with Cruiser: Bruiting About the Brutes

With Spring practice less than two weeks away, this seems like a good time for an update on the team’s progress this winter. Unlike the coaches and players, those of us on the outside don’t have detailed information on all aspects of the team, but occasionally small tidbits filter our way.
